Taking Healthy and some amount of workouts is absolutely necessary for good growth and overall well-being from children. If good patterns are inculcated in fast development years, children will remain fit and disease no cost and also grow up for the reason that healthy adults. These days, numerous children don’t receive proper nutrition and exercise and for that reason are suffering from a number of problems.
Apart from Poor daily allowance of healthy, wholesome healthy foods and inadequate physical activity, TELEVISION viewing for long hours also leads to obesity amongst children as it replaces physical activity. Observing TV increases snacking behavior and also reduces resting calorie burning.
Excessive weight – can lead to various social and psychological problems. In the very first place they don’t take in right quantity and at times when they do high-quality is not right. i. e. they don’t eat right food items. Chips and colas took over their lunch and dinner menu. Children desire a wide variety of nutrients for their daily growth and development and protect them from a variety of illnesses.
Healthy eating also cuts down on risk for cavities, malnutrition, anemia, eating disorders and obesity. If strong, children would also perform better academically and are more likely to cope up with pressure in a better manner.
Above listed observations will not be uncommon but we still don’t do anything to change our habits or habits of our children. Question that arises is how can people change the habits our children or how can we develop good eating habits amongst children.
Children should be urged not to be fussy concerning certain food items. Outdoor activities in evening for kids should be encouraged and Viewing TV should be limited so that they can ensure kids enjoy a performance of cricket / hockey / hockey etc inside the nearby park and not that X-BOX or PlayStation game.
Daily exercise helps children build strong muscles and bone tissues and also limits body fat thereby reducing chances of obesity and various diseases like diabetes. Nowadays, Children don’t do whatever physical exercise or thus having them prone to diseases. That phenomenon is more prevalent in metros and other tier 1 cities of the country.
School administration should also take active interest in promoting muscle stimulation at all levels in the institution. These influences can last a lifetime and help kids lead better life the two as a child as well as an adult. These healthy adults definitely will for a healthy and disease free Society in long run.
Children often copy their parents and close friends. It is the responsibility of parents to explain to children features of eating fruits and vegetables and cereals and at the same time what are the side effects of eating burgers, french fries and colas, sugar goodies every day.
